Hi, I’m Bryan Noll. I make music with synthesizers—mostly Eurorack Modular—and I consider myself first and foremost, an improviser. I studied improvisation with Mark Dresser and Jane Ira Bloom at The New School in the early-mid 2000s. Back then, my instrument of choice was electric guitar with lots of pedals, but I’ve always had an affinity for texture and time.
My creative practice centers around making pieces with my ever-evolving Eurorack Modular Synthesizer, which I enjoy filming and posting on YouTube. The videos featured below are from my Fourhexagons channel. Head to Lightbath for the new material.
I'm working on music for a couple cassettes to be released later this year under the name Lightbath. To be notified of these releases, sign up for email updates.
